hello -
i am new to WebDataGrid and i need to be able to show the detail records associated with a gridrow. the grid contains a unique order number along with other summary information. I need to be able to allow the user to click a summarized row and then have the grid expand and show the detail records for that row ... not sure actually what it is called so i cannot search the forum for examples. any help would be appreciated.

This sounds like something the WebHierarchicalDataGrid is more suited for. Please take a look at the following sample and let me know if this is what you are looking for.
