I'd like to access my company site (Sites in Office 365) using SharePlus for Android. I see there is an Office 365 authentication option when adding a SharePoint Portal. I'm constantly given authentication errors when I test the connection. I fear this is due to my using two-stage authentication for my Office 365 account, which requires me to validate the login using an app on my phone.
I've tested competing apps that offer an Office 365 Web authentication option, whereby I can utilise my two-stage authentication properly.
Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround? Removing two-factor authentication is not an option.
I've tested this with a dummy user without two-factor authentication and am able to sign in using SharePlus with Office 365 authentication and similar details.
So the question remains: Is it know that two-factor authentication prevents users from adding SharePoint Portals in SharePlus? If so, is there a workaround?
Hello Ash,
Unfortunately Two-Factors Authentication isn't supported yet.
Would you please try the Web Authentication and check if it will allow adding the portal.
The authentication options available to me are:
None of these allow me to sign-in with two-factor authentication.
Dear Ashley,
Unfortunately we don't support the two-factors authentication yet, it would also be great if you can express your need of that as a new feature at this URL http://mobility-ideas.infragistics.com
