We upgraded our test environment to have claims authentication. So our web application is set to have both forms authentication and windows authentication. Trying to connect to a test URL via shareplus gives us an error. The error is a "Server Message: Server was unable to process request. ----> Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 9x80070005(E_ACCESSDENIED)))
Is there something we need to setup special to get this to work?

SharePlus supports Claims based authentication through Web Login, which needs to be selected in order to connect to your site successfully.
SharePlus needs the certificate in Local Files. You may access them by syncing your iPad with iTunes then going to Applications > File Sharing and clicking in SharePlus Lite. You may add your certificate there. Commercial Kitchen Cleanings
