I am able to get authenticated to access the sites and libraries, but I am unable to open the documents once I click on them. But this happens 90% of the time?? When opening a document I receive an error:
"Unexpected error has occured" "Correlation ID: d049e3fd-2b4b-b946-9dbe952ce805"
I have searched on the MS site but I get no finely tuned answers. I dont understand why certain word files will open and others do not. When I go into the documents tab, I do see the documents I am able to open. But there are only 10, and I have about 500 that I am unable to.
Any ideas, am I missing a setting on my end?
Hello Tim,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics!
This error message is a reply from your SharePoint environment, unfortunately it doesn't detail the source of the error.
Do you get the same error message trying to perform the same action using a desktop computer?
Have you check authorization levels for reading items?
Is the server returning any error logs?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey Gonzalo,
Thanks for getting back so quick. I am figuring it has to be something on the server side, but the fact that some open and not others has me puzzled. I am the Site Admin, so authorization should be no issue. Also, everything works just fine from a desktop. I'm looking through logs from the server, but I'm not seeing anything abnormal or denying access from my credentials.
Are there any KBs out there that you know of that might have the similar issues?
Thanks for you help.
I'm not sure to follow what you mean by "some open and not others" are we talking about different devices or users?
I will strongly recommend to contact SharePoint's support to see if the can identify the source of the issue based on the correlation ID.
Please let me know if you have any updates.
What I meant by "some open and not others", is that some documents within the sharepoint site open (like word or excel docs) and some do not. I am using one device, and logged into the site through your software with one credential. Also, I am the site admin therefore my credentials are not blocked to review any of the documetns within the site. I understand it might be an MS issue, but the fact that a few documents do open makes me feel that it is an issue with your application, and that I might have a setting turned off. Something is preventing me from seeing these documents & I am not having issues on any other device or application. I am only having these issues within SharePlus and it only occurs on my ipad.
Further more, I would like to roll this program out to my other colleagues who use the ipad, but if we cant get certain documents to open, then its a useless application for us.
Thanks for your help and time.
Are there any differences in the type of files that cannot be opened?
Do they have password protection or a different extension? (Like PDF and PDFa)
Can you browse those locations and files in Safari on that device?
