I am getting an error when my qtp script attempts to type into a swfcombobox. The detail on the error message says: Unhandled exception has occured in your application. IG: The following UltraGridRow (data that I want to type in) was not found. Has anyone seen this before?
What is the script that you are using to type into the ComboBox and what version of TestAdvantage are you using?
I am using a custom built QTP Keyword framework to test a financial application. The Combobox is supposed to autofill when you type the first letter in. I am using Test Advantage Version 9.2 CLR 2.0.
Does this issue persist if you use the latest service release of TestAdvantage? There was a fix made earlier this year to address an issue that resulted in the error that you are seeing. As such I recommend that you download the latest service release and test to see if this resolves this issue for you.
These steps will help to download the service release:
1) Navigate to the "My Keys and Downloads" page on our website. You may be asked to log in using your Infragistics member profile's user name and password. You can reach the My Keys and Downloads page via the following link:https://www.infragistics.com/my-account/keys-and-downloads
2) Click on the "TestAdvantage" tab. This will show all of your registered license keys for TestAdvantage.3) Click on the license key for the product and version for which you would like to download a service release. This will bring up all available public downloads for this product and version.4) In the "Service Releases" section, click on the link to download the service release of TestAdvantage.
Let me know if you have any questions with this matter.
