I am trying to click on a toolbar tool using the ClickToolbarTool option in QTP. Using the .Net Spy I can see the following:
The toolbar is: Infragistics.Win.UltraWinToolbars.UltraToolbarsDockArea
Under Tools there are 6 identified tools. I want to click on tool number 2
2 - DeleteInstruction [DeleteInstruction] - ButtonTool
the key for this item is DeleteInstruction
I have tried multiple ways to click on this but all have been unsuccessful. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Let's start of with the basics, do you have the version of TestAdvantage to match your version of NetAdvantage, and have you tried to record the action that you are attempting to do?

Mike,
The version of Test Advantage is 2010 v.2 and the dll's for the applicaiton are also V10.2. The application lives on a network drive, so recording is always a problem. We strictly use descriptive programming to automate the application in question. I know that there are different command for different versions of TestAdvantage and also for different toolbar sets. This one is puzzling though and I appreciate any help.
