I am trying to automate an .Net and WPF windows app.The application has been developed using Dot Net 4.0 and Infragistics control (NetAdvantage 2007 Volume 1). I have installed QTP 11.0 with Dot Net 4.0/WPF add-in's and also TestAdvantage for Windows Forms 2007 Vol.1 CLR 2.0.
The problem is it is Identifying WPF objects as Win Objects not as WPF.how to identify this object. Please help me in this....
Thanks Michael for your reply. I think I know what is the reason now since the AUT uses Infragistics WPF controls which has earlier version than 10.3 ...
If you are using NetAdvantage WPF controls, we recently released a TestAdvantage for WPF product for versions 10.3 and 11.1, and we are currently working on 11.2, likely to be released end of April. Unfortunately we will not be able to support versions earlier than 10.3.
Do you see the object in QTP Spy as WinObject ?
I have installed TestAdvantage CLR2.0 with QTP11 and after running the utility.exe tool.
I still see the WinObject DirectX with HwndHost
Do we share the same issue ?
