I have a form that currently uses the ACE (Access Control Engine) driver to select and cast data from and MS Excel file into a dataset; however I am having an issue with the data types being set incorrectly by the ACE driver, so it is returning some blank cells.
We have Infragistics so I though I would give it a try instead of the ACE driver; well I seem to have more issues with the Infragistics utility than the ACE, am I doing something wrong?
Some very simple excel files work; but the bigger more complex ones don't!
Keep in mind that the ACE driver will successfully import the Excel file that I am not able to import using Infragistics.
The excel file is 244KB so it won't allow me to upload it under the options tab. But just for reference I am using the following driver successfully uploading it:
Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0
What is the extension of the file you are trying to load? Would you be able to post the file so I can test it?

I was able to load the attached file without any issue, so this might have been a bug that was fixed already. Have you upgraded to the latest SR for the version you are using? That might help if you have not already. As for the other file, I think it would be better if you sent this to Developer Support instead. That way it can be tracked and logged as a bug if a problem is found. I have forwarded this post to the Developer Support Manager and a DS engineer will be contacting you about this issue.
