Hi,
I would like to know if we can set the start date of an year using our custom date. Or either if we can change the start week id in the UI to keep it in sync with ISO calendar.
Is there any way to modify the UI of the control??
Thanks,
Parth
Hello Parth,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics!
A year for the WebMonthCalendar is going to be a calendar year so the start would be January 1st. If you want you can set the SelectedDate to change the default date shown when the calendar first renders. To set the start of the week you can set the FirstDayOfWeek property, you can see here with the following documentation:
http://help.infragistics.com/doc/ASPNET/2015.1/CLR4.0/?page=WebMonthCalenadar_Set_a_Custom_Day_as_the_First_Day_of_the_Week.html
If you want to modify the UI you would do this my applying CSS to the calendar you can see the default style applied by looking at the ig_monthcalendar.css in the ig_res\Default style folder where “Default” is the style name.
Hi Parth,
Thank you for the update. The properties mentioned above are the only way to modify the start of the week/year. The start of the month/year will always be the 1st.
