I need to impliment the graph from the snippet. Notice the values for the top 2 bars 3,896,897 and 80. The major gridline value seems to be based on both values. How do I achieve this using Bar Chart?
The behavior exhibited by the attached image looks like it can be achieved by using a Composite Chart with two X-axes which have two different tickmark intervals (20 and 1 000 000) and set min/max values. There is a step by step guide for creating a Composite Chart:Part 1: https://www.infragistics.com/help/aspnet/chart-creating-a-composite-chart-using-the-chart-wizard-part-1-of-2Part 2: https://www.infragistics.com/help/aspnet/chart-creating-a-composite-chart-using-the-chart-wizard-part-2-of-2 The tickmark intervals and the min/max values are described in the following topics:https://www.infragistics.com/help/aspnet/chart-tickmarkshttps://www.infragistics.com/help/aspnet/chart-set-minimum-and-maximum-data-valuesPlease let me know how my suggestions work for you.
For composite chart set my first chart type as Bar Chart what should my 2nd chart type be?
Yes, the composite chart will use two Bar Charts. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
The reason this code doesn't render for Composite Chart is because it's missing some prerequisites such as Series and ChartLayer. You can see more about these prerequisites in the About Composite Charts.
Since you already have code for a Bar Chart I can offer you this sample application which uses a logarithmic axis which is preferred when plotting very disparate data side-by-side which is the case with the data of the chart from the original post.
You can see the result in the ChartImages folder and in order for the application to be executed the Infragistics45.WebUI.UltraWebChart and Infragistics45.WebUI.Shared dll have to be added to the Bin folder of the sample. They are found inside the Infragistics\2019.1\ASP.NET\CLR4.5\Bin folder. The version of the dlls has to be changed from Version=19.1.20191.220 to the version you have installed.
I would be happy to help you with any additional information.
