Hi everyone,

I have a problem w/ my heirarchical grid: The formula I have set in the parent bands only seem to work on text that could be considered numeric - Otherwise it says there is an error.

I am counting the number of times a particular text field appears in a sub-band, and placing that result into an integer field in the parent band.  This does work when the text field could be considered numeric.  It does not work if the text field has characters in them, even with text commands such as find, etc.

Is there a way around this?  Has anyone else noticed this or been able to get it to work?

BTW - Anyone know how to get the width of the expansion space in heirarchical grids?
