When I add appointments to the WebMonthView, it is altering their start times to account for daylight saving time. I want to DISABLE this functionality.
For example: A legal procedure took place on 12/20/2010 at 8:08PM EST. When I provide this value to the control, it displays it as "9:08PM" on 12/20/2010. In this example I don't care what the time would have been in some other time zone or what 8:08PM would be if we accounted for DST. All I want is for the control to display the time that the appointment actually occurred (exactly the time that I provide it).
To be clear, this is not a time zone issue. Appointments that are unaffected by DST display their start time correctly.
I was able to see that appointment added by specifying “Start Time” and “End Time” displays correctly. I have also reviewed sample from our website from the following link:
Here are the steps I took to test this: Browse the above link using Firefox. Double click on any day in webmonthview control. Add an appointment by specifying “Start Time” and “End Time”.
Actual Result: The appointment added shows the correct time entered.
If the issue is specific to your application please provide me with the markup of the page with version of NetAdvantage product you are using so I may assist you.
Hope this helps.
I am following up to see, were you able to test the behavior you described using the sample browser link I have provided in above thread?
Update me if you have any further questions with this matter.
