It appears that, by default, the brushes that show up in the color picker's Recent Color Palette are only local to that instance of the color picker. For example, say I have two different color pickers in a UI. If I choose Blue in color picker 1, Blue will show up in color picker 1's recent color list, but not in color picker 2's. 

Is there a way to configure the color picker so that recent colors are shared between all instances of the color pickers?

If not, do you have some suggested workarounds to get similar behavior?
