I am using the ultraganttivew control and have the following code:
private Project _gantProject = null; private DataSet _dataSet = new DataSet(); private DataTable _projectTable = null; private DataTable _taskTable = null;
I meant to write "but it does NOT keep the parent/child link?".
I have investigated your issue, and I have asked our engineering staff to examine “Parent-child relation lost when data is loaded after databinding is set” further. To ensure that it will receive attention, I have logged this behavior in our internal tracking system with a Development ID of #218303. So I’ve created a case for you CAS-172238-D6C4K4 and will update you for the progress of this issue via the mentioned case. You could reach your case following the link below:
In the meantime, as a work around you may try to set the data bindings after you load the data. Note you will need also to reset the databinding for task. Attached I am sending you a small sample project where I have implemented this workaround for you.
Thank you for using Infragistics Components.
Thank you Milko, your work around solution works just fine.
Once again, awesome effort mate, really like your work!
The fix for development issue 218303 is available in the latest service release available from the My Keys and Downloads page.
