I am using the UltragridExcelExporter in a class to create spreadsheets on a system that doesn't have Office on it (hence the need to do it with this library).
I am trying to make the table totally read-only. I.e. users can open it, but can't change anything at all. I've tried using protect, but so far, it's doing nothing at all, and I'm not sure it's meant to do anything like what I'm asking for here.
Any help would be appreciated.
Got it working except for password protection. I just click on 'enable editing' and I can edit it.
If protect_sheet = "Prot" Then myWorkbook.Protect("test", CBool(True), CBool(False))
Got it working with this:
myWorkbook.SetFileWriteProtectionPassword("test")
