Get selected value of Sorted Filter items on Ultra PivotGridControl

Hi,

I've an UltraPivotGrid control, an i'm trying to get which items are Sorted in DropFilterArea.

I'm using the event FilterSelectorClose, but diferent, for exemple, from ColumnsDropArea that has a Result method that returns which fileds are sorted, DropFilterArea hasn't any property or method to get this.

Have I someway to Get this items (just the DropFilterArea selecteds items )?

I'm looking for some property that can give me what items are selected.

For you to understand, I'm doing some process when the cell is clicked, but I need to get which filters are selected (which are checked).

Hello Vinicius,

Thank you for the update. You will want to get the RecordFilters from the FieldLayout:

this.XamDataGrid1.FieldLayouts[0].RecordFilters

This will return a collection one for each column/field, and the inside of that it will have the conditions applied to each column/field.

But my object is not a XamDataGrid, i'm developing using a WinUltraPivotGrid.

Can i do the same?

Hello Vinicius,

Thank you for the update and your patience. I have done some looking into the WinPivotGrid and there doesn’t seem to be a way to directly access what filter conditions are being applied. I recommend you look into the FilterSelectorClosed event and look at the DialogResult to see what if any changes were applied.

Hi,

I'm looking for the exact same thing.

I have to collect informations in my database depending on the active cell in my pivotgrid and the selected filters (years in my case).

What informations the DialogResult can bring? I tried it but I only know if I clicked on "Ok" or "Cancel".

Isn't their a simple way to know if the filter is checked or not?

After investigating this and doing some research, getting a list of the filters applied to the data in the grid has been determined to be a product idea. You can suggest new product ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones) at <www.infragistics.com/.../ideas>.
