Display datetime column with single or double digit hour, as appropriate

I have a column in an UltraWinGrid bound to a datetime value.

I would like cells in this column to display the time (just the time, no date; and without the date calendar drop-down) in standard .Net "h:mm tt" format, adjusting the number of hour digits displayed to either 1 or two digits depending on the time of day.  That is, as 1:30 PM or 10:00 AM

Setting the column's Style property to Time gets me close, but the hour is always displayed as two digits.  I.e. 1:30 PM is displayed as 01:30 PM

In addition to setting Style to Time, I have also tried setting the MaskInput to "h:mm tt".  But this doesn't appear to make any difference.
