I need to create an export (PDF format) where
1. I have an image at the top
2. Some header text
3. A wingrid
4. Some footer text
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,Gerry
Hi Gerry,
Which part of this is giving you trouble?
Have you looked at the sample included in the NetAdvantage SDK which exports a grid to a PDF? The sample has code to put in some text either before or after the grid within or without the same section. So it seems like that's almost exactly what you need.
Mike,
I can't find the SDK on my PC. I have Infragistics NetAdvantage for .NET 2009.1 and under there I can't find the SDK. I tried downloading what I thought was it and still can't find it.
I am looking for Tutorial that shows the code to do this such as "How to add an Image", "How to add the grid"....
Thanks,
Gerry
Gerry,
The Windows Forms samples that Mike refers to are included in the download bundles of both NetAdvantage for Win Client 2009 Volume 1 and NetAdvantage Select 2009 Volume 1. When you unzip the bundle, you'll see a file named "NetAdvantage_WinForms_Samples_20091.exe" - that's the installer for the samples.
The same holds true for the Windows Forms samples in NetAdvantage for .NET 2009 Volume 2. In previous versions, the samples were a separate download from the product, called the "SDK" at the time.
Hi Vince,
At Vanguard - they have a desktop support team that handles the installs on the PCs. So I did not do the install mysetlf. I searched for a file called that name (or even close to it) under C:\program files\infragistics and nothing came back.
Is there another way I can get this exe?
Does the Samples include code I can look at?

If the file isn't on your computer, then you'll need to download it.
You should have a license key for the toolset registered to your Infragistics member profile. Registering your key tells our systems that you're the authorized developer for that key, providing you with access to all available downloads (in addition to the purchased levels of support connected to the key). You can get at these downloads from the My Keys and Downloads page of our website.
Since NetAdvantage for .NET 2009 Volume 1 is no longer available as a trial download, you will need to have a registered license key to access this download.
