In Microsoft Office 2007, several components fade when they are disappearing. This counts for a dropped down ribbon, a dropped down popup menu and tooltips.
I've set UltraToolbarsManager.MenuAnimationStyle to MenuAnimationStyle.Fade to achieve this behavior.
I've found a topic about the ribbon not fading properly and a topic about the tooltips not fading properly.
The fading behavior of the dropped down popup menu's is not working as I expected either. In Microsoft Office 2007, a dropdown popup menu appears immediately, and disappears fading. When MenuAnimationStyle.Fade is used, an Infragistics PopupMenuTool uses a fading animation when appearing, and disappears immediately.
Is there a setting to change this behavior, to make a PopupMenuTool appear immediately and fade when disappearing?
