I am integrating an UltraTree into a winforms app designed for touchscreens. We would like the user to be able to scroll through the tree by swiping their finger on the touchpad. Windows 7 has this behavior built in for any scrollable control, but since the UltraTree has its own scrollbar UI elements I can't get this same behavior.
I can somewhat implement this behavior myself by messing with the ScrollInfo during the tree's mousemove event, but this isn't nearly as smooth as the built in touchpad scrolling.
Is there anything I can do to get smooth scrolling to work for touchpad swipes? Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
The Infragistics Winforms control currently have no support for the new gestures in WIndows 7.
I haven't worked with them myself. Are there new events in the DotNet framework that fire when you swipe?
I'd like to know how to implement touch support in winforms controls. According to your marketing at http://www.infragistics.com/dotnet/netadvantage/winforms.aspx#Overview the infragistics controls DO support touch, but i haven't found any examples or help.
Maybe you could look into it and post a response here.
