Im using VB.net and "hide" my test program in normal use. I'm looking for a way to "show" the program when the user clicks anywhere on the desktopalert when it appears. I've checked the VB samples cant find anything relevant. Is this possible in VB?
Have I posted this in the wrong place? I know I'm only using the trial version but I thought I would have had a response by now?
There is no MouseDown event for this control, so one possibility is to use the DesktopAlertLinkClicked event, and then use Me.Show() inside the event.
The event used in this suggestion will allow the showing of your program when a user clicks the caption, text, or footer text of the desktop alert window.
Hi rosea,
Torrey’s response is absolutely correct. I have attached a small sample, which will place this solution into context.
If you have any further questions, regarding this issue, please let us know.
