We need a spell checker that can recognize medical term so we bought steadmans dictionary. Is there is anyway we can compile the steadmans dictionary file which come as a text file to be "dict" file that we can use in UltraSpellChecker control? We can't use it as UserDictionary because each user has their own custom dictionary.

The requirement for the dictionary file is that each word is on a separate line. Also, please take a look at the following link:

The UserDictionary is path to text file that each word is on a separate line. Do you know what is the format of the Dictionary "dict" files that came with control? We bought steadmans dictionary but I dont know how we could convert steadmans dictionary file to the right format so UtralSpellchecker control can still work?

The default dictionaries are 9 only. If you want to use another dictionary, the option is to use 'UserDictionary' with every workd on a separate line.
