Hello Bhargavi,
Thank you for the code you have provided.
The FieldSettings element is not part of the visual tree, so it doesn't inherit the DataContext. You can however declare your ViewModel as a StaticResource.For example:
<igDP:XamDataGrid.FieldSettings> <igDP:FieldSettings AllowEdit="False" CellHeight="{Binding RowHeight, Source={StaticResource vm}}" Width="Auto" CellClickAction="SelectRecord" LabelTextAlignment="Center"/> </igDP:XamDataGrid.FieldSettings>
Using this approach I have created a small sample application
You can find also more information here.
Hello Nick,
Thanks for the Response and Example . Is there any default setting for the Cell height or Row Height.It takes only Min height 15 value .can we give under 15 value to Cell height.
The FieldSettings instance contain CellMinHeight, CellHeight and CellMaxHeight properties.
In order to force the XamDataGrid to use a specific height for the cells which might cause their content to become only partly visible (as it is in our case when we want the cells have a Height of 15 or less), you can use the CellMaxHeight property. This way the cells will not be able able to go beyond the maximum value we have set and they will use that value itself.
<igDP:FieldSettings AllowEdit="False" CellMaxHeight="10" ... />
