Event fired when ContentPane is dragged out of a SplitPane?
posted

We are making a multi-monitor application. What we would like to do is when a ContentPane is dragged out of a SplitPane I want to fire an event that determines if the ContentPane was moved to a different monitor and if so, maximize the ContentPane. Is there a way to detect that?

The events fired during a drag operation are PaneDragStarting (when a drag operation is about to begin), PaneDragOver (during the drag operation to determine if a given action is a valid drag action) and PaneDragEnded (when the drag operation is complete). So in theory you could handle the PaneDragEnded and process the Panes provided to that event.
