I want to sort the groupby rows by the value of the another column in the xamdatagrid.
Please find attached sample to understand the requirement.
I have applied group by on the "City" column & need to show the groups by the Pincode column.
How can i achieve this in xamdatagrid.

Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it and I modified the sample you sent me so now it has the functionality you want. Basically I created a GroupByEvaluator, where I used a custom SortComparer, so now the sorting is based on the Princode value, not the City value. Please let me know if this helps you or you need further assistance on this matter.

I am getting the error while displaying the groups first time & also on doing any action in the xamdatagrid. like filtering of the data.
I am using the MVVM patten & added grouing in the codebehind.
All the data from the database are loaded into the Viewmodel & then i apply grouping on the perticuka datarows.

This error is happing at the foolwing event.

Could you please tell me what steps I need to follow in order to reprodcue your behavior or send me a sample project, where this issue occurs, becasue I wasn't able to reproduce your behavior using the sample I sent you before.
Its working fine but i am facing problem with the filtering of the data due to the same code.
Whenever i am applying any filter on the xamdatagrid. It is not working correctly as expected. It removes the filtered rows from the view.
Sorting & Grouping the columns works when i explicitly click on the header of the column.
How can i tackle with the situation.
