I'm currently using XamGeographicMap. Is there a way (besides traversing through Bindings) to get the visual object reference that was created per item in the source binding?
Analogical, to this example: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb613579(v=vs.110).aspx,
But I can't find the ItemContainerGenerator member.

Can you provide me with more information about the reason your are trying to get the visual object reference that was created per item in the source binding? Also, what are you trying to accomplish after getting these visual objects? I asked because there might be easier and more appropriate way of modifying these objects.Thanks,Martin
I was trying to invoke a method on a control (not really good programming practice). I refactored my cod and bound to the source's items properties. It works great.
