I have an issue where each time I add a new option to a Multiple Choice list column it does not show up in SharePlus. I found that if I remove my Sharepoint site from SharePlus and re-add it the new value then does show up correctly. I also found the following threads which appear to referenace my exact issue along with the recommended "Reset Cache" workaround:
While the "Reset Cache" workaround is more convenient than recreating the site entry in SharePlus, it isn't a good option for my implementation where the values in this Multiple Choice column change frequently.
One additional oddity is that I have another Multiple Choice column in a different Sharepoint list which looks to be configured identically, but which does not have this problem. SharePlus detects updates in that Multiple Choice column automatically.
What else can be done about this problem to allow automatic updates in SharePlus without user intervention?
I have been in a discussion with one of my colleagues working on SharePlus and I was informed that there is not a function to completely update a list each time it is connected or each time the refresh button is tapped. We really appreciate your feedback and we'd like you to add your idea here [http://southlabs.uservoice.com/forums/114543-general/] so you, and other users, can vote, comment and follow your idea: the higher the number of votes the higher are the chances of your idea being implemented in a future version of SharePlus.

Ok. I've opened a new feature request here:
Perhaps if others who run into this forum thread vote for this request it will happen.
Hello Micah Katke,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics.
From my understanding, you are encountering an issue with SharePlus not refreshing each time you open a site. This behavior is expected to make the app more efficient. Please note, you have the ability to manually refresh your site to obtain the latest site information by tapping on the refresh button on the lower left hand of your screen. Resetting the list's is generally the default method to perform a thorough update in SharePlus. For more information on why this is so, please visit http://southlabs.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/94490-why-shareplus-doesn-t-update-changes-made-to-a-l
I hope I have answered all of your questions. If you have any additional questions feel free to update this forum. Thanks!
Thanks for the response.
The refresh button does not resolve the problem in this case. As you mentioned the "reset cache" button can also be used for a more thorough update, and the reason for this behavior is 'to make the app more efficient'. However, in the case of this particular list which changes frequently this behavior makes the experience less efficient for the user. So this leaves 2 questions:
1. Is there some way to change the function of SharePlus - perhaps even just for this list - to cause it to completely update each time it connects to a list, or each time the refresh button is tapped?
2. Why am I seeing a different experience with another Multiple Choice column another list? If I could understand why that column's changes are updating automatically then perhaps I could modify this list or column to get the experience that I want in SharePlus.
I am currently looking into answering your first question. However for your second question, can you please provide screenshots to illustrate what differences you are seeing between your lists to help me understand what is happening and what you would like to achieve. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this matter.
I went to replicate the experience described in my second list to provide you screenshots, but I am not seeing identical results as list 1. I am certain I saw different results in list 2 last week as a coworker verified the results with me - however as I said I am now unable to duplicate.
Thank you for your previous updates. If you re-experience any behavior that you find unnatural regarding choice columns please feel free to respond here. Thanks again.
Thanks for your assistance.
