Count is expected to return 0, if AutoGenerateColumns property is set to true.

I'll be more grateful to you if you help me in solving another problem,i.e.,
I want to format a decimal column in webhierarchicaldatagrid as if user decided to show specific decimal places such as 2,3,4...any without loosing the actual value
e.g:-
decimal place:-2
column = 1
desired value to be displayed:-1.00
decimal place:-3
column = 233233.54
desired value to be displayed:-233233.540
I hope I's able to state my problem clearly.
The displayed value format is controlled by the DataFormatString property. To display an integer in a decimal format, please use {0:N2}:
