hi all, I have added a new required column in a picture library. i made the change on a PC browser. using Shareplus, I cannot see the column/field.
via shareplus, i took a new photo and uploaded it...worked great but the photo won't check in due to the required field not being filled out. but shareplus doesn't display the new field. is there any way to "refresh" this type of thing?
I found another posting that mentioned the Reset Cache option. This fixed my problem but is a major pain point for our company as we use custom columns constantly and are frequently changing them.

I understand this can be cumbersome. However, in live/production environments is not likely that the structure of lists change on a regular basis.
When SharePlus "reads" the list, it store its structure in the app's internal database. This is used to, among other things, save the items, which are structured according to the list's columns.
If a column is added/removed/changed, the items' structure has changed, and the new structure no longer fits the one in the app's database. Because of this, the list's cache must be cleared and the structure must be "re-built" in the app's database.
Are you working with a dev/testing environment or do you often change the list(s)' structure in a live/production environment?
