I took a picture with my phone (see attached picture), and tried to use BarcodeReader to process this picture. But somehow the BarcodeReader couldn't recognize the bar code in this picture. If I use pictures I found online which are usually clean and clear, all those can be read. But in the real world scenario, the pictures taken would be worse than the one I attached here.
Please let me know how I can make this barcode in the picture get read.
Thanks!

Well, I don't think it's because of the format since that's the basic code 39. You can simple print out that picture and scan it with barcode scanner app on your phone. I can google any code 39 barcode, with the image itself, BarcodeReader would decode fine. But if you print out that image and take a picture of it, then try to decode that image, it won't process it.
Please let me know your thoughts.
I have been looking into your issue. Would you please try the following steps and check if the image would be read by the xamBarcodeReader:
- Specify all performance properties
- Try to capture the symbol( the barcode) in the whole image so there are no other objects In the image
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any additional questions on this matter.
