Hi,
Android whenever i select i tooltip it always select a higher valueor right hand side vale instead it should get a left hand value.
for eg. when i click on chart to create tooltip between 2 value like value1-15 and value2-20 it always select and show 2 value(20) instead of slecting value1 (15).
please help me out for this case.
Hi Vishal,
This is the expected behavior. What is actually happening is that when you press and hold to display a tooltip, the tooltip displayed will be for the data point closest to the location where the press and hold occurred. When you press+hold between points A and B, if the chart registers that the press+hold occurred before the halfway point between A and B then it will show the tooltip for A. If the press+hold occurs after the halfway point between A and B then the tooltip for B will be displayed.
The first point that means A never display it start from second point.
I attached a very simple android project with a data chart visible. The data source I'm using only has 2 points in it so the line that it draws between them stretches across the width of the chart. This makes it easier to demonstrate the behavior that I described earlier. When I run this application in an emulator or on a device, I can see the tooltip show up for the first point as long as my finger is touching the left side of the center point between the two points. As soon as my finger moves to the right side of this center point, the tooltip switches to the second point. Moving my finger back to the left side of the center point moves the tooltip back to the first point again.
