This is being fixed and the proper NuGets will be available in the next SR. Yes, we only ship the versionless with NuGet. NuGet has built-in versioning and it would not be wise to ship a versioned NuGet package ID, otherwise you would not be able to upgrade your packages properly. A template field is used when you want to provide a custom editor for editing and display a value.
