    Hello Denny,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Currently we do not have such a dock control, although if you tell me what you are trying to achieve I can try to help you to implement a solution close to your requirements?

We have a TileManager widget which Is very customizable and can help you to manipulate content. Basically it consists tiles and if you put item in a tile and set its height and width to be 100% it will be "dock" to the tile.

    http://igniteui.com/tile-manager/item-configurations

You can also have a look at this article where its shown how to make a pure css dock.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

      Hi,

Currently we are using the dock manager provided for the silverlight  control by infragistics same as in visualstudio IDE dock.In a page there are several panels which have different items like chart, graph etc. in it and it can be rearranged and docked to different positions. This page is currently developed in silverlight.I need to change this to a HTML5 UI.Is there any possible solution?

      Thanks in advance.

        Hello Denny,

I understand you requirements, we have a docking widget which you can use to dock/undock content, this widget is called igDialog.

        Example:

        http://igniteui.com/dialog-window/icons

Also I would recommend you to log it at http://ideas.infragistics.com, the Product Ideas site allows you to suggest new product features, new functionalities in existing products and controls, and even request new controls and products altogether. Members of the Infragistics Community then vote for the features and suggestions they want to see added to the products, resulting in the most popular features bubbling up to the top.
When planning new releases, our Product Management team will look at the most popular features and use your feedback to prioritize upcoming work.

        Hi,

I am not sure with the example you mentioned. It is just a dialog which can be moved in the screen.I meant to dock that particular control to different positions in the screen as we usually do in visualstudioIDE. It is present for silverlight

        http://www.infragistics.com/products/silverlight/layouts/dock-manager

        Example

If such a feature not available for Html5 please update it which will be very useful.

        Thanks in Advance

        Hello Denny,

Yes, The igDialog is more of a dialog and not a panel which can be docked, although I have suggested it because it have dock functionality and may be you can customize it in a way that can help you to achieve your requirements.

As I have said, we do not have such widget, althogugh if you consider this as a good product idea you can log it directly to our site or use the Submit Product Idea button on the right to this thread.

There are many benefits to submitting/ voting for an idea through UserVoice:

        – Communicate directly with our product management team. They'll see the idea described in your words and respond to you personally.

        – You and other developers can discuss existing product ideas with members of our Product Management team.

Our Product Management team will look at the most popular features and use your feedback to prioritize upcoming work.
