Ignite UI Themes
The only constant in web development is change, and that often extends to the look and feel of your web application. Most developers are not designers, and the ability to quickly and easily change the look of you web application can mean the difference between a few minutes of work or a couple of weeks. To help developers with this type of customization, Ignite UI for JavaScript supports Themes. Provided themes range from Metro, iOS, and a variety of Bootstrap themes. When working with Bootstrap, you can use a pre-defined theme, or you can use the Theme Generator, which exposes all the CSS variables used to build the theme, giving you ultimate control over the look and feel of every aspect of Ignite UI for JavaScript controls.
Metro
Based on the stylings of Windows 10, the Metro theme emphasizes a flat design aesthetic and tile-based composition patterns.

Bootstrap Themes
Ignite UI comes with five Bootstrap themes out-of-the-box: Bootstrap Default, Bootstrap 4 Default, Bootstrap Superhero, Bootstrap Flatly, and Bootstrap Yeti. Beyond using the stock themes, you may also create your own Bootstrap theme using the Theme Generator, which exposes each CSS variable used to create the theme. The Theme Generator gives you all the power you need to make a custom theme specifically suited to your application.
