VB.NET Samples

There are hardly any samples in VB.  Everything is coded in C#, is there an effort to make the code available in VB for those of us who are primarily a vb.net shop.  If not, this license is usless to me since I have to develop maintanable code in VB.NET.  I wish I would have known this before I purchased the license.  I remember some VB sample code being available in the previous version and hoped there would be more in the 2008 version.  Sadly, that’s not the case.  This license wasn’t cheap either…

I've just completed running the samples install and I see VB folders for most of the samples in C:\Users\Public\Documents\infragistics

Also, all of the help code examples is delivered in both C# and VB.

I know that the Showcases are only written in C# but most if not all other samples should have VB versions.

If there are particular code examples or samples you are not finding VB examples for please contact support and I'm sure they can help you find the files or code if it's available.

Let me know which sample you are not seeing in VB.  We don't have 100% coverage but we are trying to get there.

Also feel free to send any feedback to me at jasonb@infragistics.com on the samples (or lack thereof) and the controls.

    Thanks

I see the VB.NET sample code now.  I recently installed the 2008 update and did not see any VB.NET source code for the first few ASP.NET samples (WebDataGrid, WebDialogWindow, WebSplitter, WebImageViewer, WebSlider, etc…) so I assumed the rest of the samples did not have the VB.NET source code.  The samples after the WebHeirarchicalDataSource sample do indeed have the VB.NET source code.

      Thanks for the quick response….
