Hi Hristo,

Thank you for your helpful reply. Finally, I am able to bind the data to the grid and display it in browser.

One suggestion, I am not sure whether this is documented anywhere, but this issue is likely to be missed. You guys should also focus on increasing the samples to cover such scenarios.

I am able to export the grid as well now, but still there are few issues:

1) I export the grid successfully, but without doing any postback, if I try to export it again, I export starts, but I get the error message: Export Failed, No file.

2) When I try to export Hierarchical grid, I get the error message: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined

I am using the below code:

 $.ig.GridExcelExporter.exportGrid($("#grid11"));

Hi Hristo,

The issue of grid data not rendering still persist.

I have placed the sample application at the below dropbox location.

You will see the data does not get rendered (no external dependencies are there, just run the solution)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/t3e5mxlntvt8bz6/Test_infragistics-new.zip?dl=0

I am using the version: 15.2.20152.1027

Just try replacing the infragistics.lob.js file with the version: 15.1.20151.1005 (renamed as 15.1-old-infragistics.lob.js in the attached project) and you will see the data gets rendered.

Please let me know what is the problem here. Also attaching the chrome error console screenshot.

It has been a long time and I am not able to proceed, I have no external dependencies here, just the infragistics resources are added.

Please help me resolve the issue at the earliest.

-Regards,

Agraj

Hi Again,

I was able to hide the column using the below code:

for (var i = 0; i < igCols.length; i++) {
if (igCols[i].hidden) {
$('#grid11').igGrid('hideColumn', igCols[i].key);
}
}

But, for setting the width, css and other stuff, do I need to individually assign each property? or is there a shortcut to do that?

-Regards,

Agraj

Hi,

I was trying with:

$('#grid11').igGrid('option', 'columns', igCols);

but this also didn't work.

The alert in the above reply shows that the column is hidden, but while binding, it displays all the columns.
