Hi Milko,
Many thanks for your answer, I would love to see it as a new feauture, but I don't currently stuck to an old release.
There are currently no plans to upgrade to a later release.
I have found a workaround for my problem by hooking in to the AfterRowFilterChanged event and injecting extra contains filter expresions.
As my column uses an OR operator this works as it should, the filter is than kept correctly.
Filter entries are inserted via:
e.ValueList.ValueListItems.Add("user" + i);
And then in the afterrowfilterchanged event I clone the original filtersettings and inject them with the comparisionoperator set to contains:
private void ultraGrid1_AfterRowFilterChanged(object sender, AfterRowFilterChangedEventArgs e)
{
if( e.Column.Key.Equals("Users"))
{
for(int i = e.NewColumnFilter.FilterConditions.Count – 1; i >= 0; i–)
{
FilterCondition fc = e.NewColumnFilter.FilterConditions[i].Clone() as FilterCondition;
fc.ComparisionOperator = FilterComparisionOperator.Contains;
e.NewColumnFilter.FilterConditions.Add(fc);
}
}
}
It looks that this solves my filter issue for now.
With kind regards,
Domien Bakker
