Well, you're solution are correct, Mike. But I solved different: In the AfterCellUpdate event, if the text length pass over X, active the cellMultiline property and set rowsizing.autofix, and works perfectly.

Yeah, you're right, the other columns have minwidht and the Ultragrid have horizontal scrollbar. Also, the other columns have minwidth = width = maxwidth. In other words, can't resize the other columns for the reason that you told.

It's curious that if I remove the minwidth of the other columns, the problem continues. I don't know if the horizontal scrollbar or fixed columns have any relation, but I don't thing so.

I continue trying things. If I achieve, I reply 🙂
