I thought I would just clarify the answer above to make it even easier. Once you have followed the path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ User Shell Folders do the following. Right-click "Personal" then choose "Modify". I then pasted: %USERPROFILE%\Documents   where my network drive was listed. Everything worked from there.
