Hi Maya,

Thank you so much for your quick response.

Yes, you are correct. For above query, subtraction rows doesn't have a Date field. If I skip subtraction field(by above condition) the values are not at all populating to the grid, displaying empty values. but, I need subtraction value too.

Can we change NaN caption to empty string or some user defined name?

Can we catch them in any of the event handlers? I tried in some of the events but, I didn't see them catching anywhere.

Please let me know any other possibility to change the text of NaN(QNaN…).

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Maya,

I added one more field to my json : Date

I added it as hierarchy field in dimensions. I am fine with the results but some minor issues like:

For subtraction value row it is showing as NaN and when I expand further it displays child nodes also like QNaN and undefined etc..

Can we rename or keep NaN and child nodes to some other user defined names?

and I am able to sort A, B and Subtraction columns. but, Is it possible to sort the id and Date hierarchy columns?

Can you please help me on these issues?

I attached sample project to this post for reference. please check it once.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Maya,

Thank you so much for your suggestion. but, in the above example all the data with calculations are being populated in either one row or one column.

If I have a 100 or more id's, it's very difficult/problem to see the results. In such a case, display should be in row format.

For Example:

sum(id1 from Group A)   sum(id1 from Group B)   Subtraction of both columns

sum(id2 from Group A)   sum(id2 from Group B)   Subtraction of both columns

sum(id3 from Group A)   sum(id3 from Group B)   Subtraction of both columns

.

.

etc

It doesn't matter how many id's in the datasource when data display format in above way.

Can you please suggest on that?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Maya,

I have a two JSON files, I wanted to calculate auto sum for both seperately(based on id) and show it in two different columns and finally subtraction. For Example:

Json1:

   { "id": "1153", "value": 12.814 }

    { "id": "1153", "value": 3.565 }

{ "id": "1154", "value": 11.66 }

    { "id": "1154", "value": 8.512 }

Json2:

    { "id": "1153", "value": 18.137 }

    { "id": "1153", "value": 16.056 }

   { "id": "1154", "value": 6.999 }

    { "id": "1154", "value": 5.887 }

Output:

   A                                       B                                        C

sum(1153 values in json1)         sum(1153 values in json2)         A-B

sum(1154 values in json1)         sum(1154 values in json2)         A-B

Is there any features provided to handle two jsons such a way in OLAP Grid?

Can you please suggest a best possible way to achieve above output?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Maya,

Thanks you so much for your help and quick response. I will try the approach of binding manually to the grid and get back to you.

Thanks again for your help.
