Object Library not Registered

I installed the ActiveThreed Plus 3 on the Windows 7.0 64bit OS. When I open my VB6 project, it shows Object Library not Registered. I tried to manually register the .ocx and it didn’t work. Please advise on how to resolve this problem. Thanks

Thank you for posting in our forums!

Please try the following approach of registering the .ocx files.

1. Open the command prompt as Administrator

2. In order to change the current directory type: cd C:\Windows\sysWOW64\ and press Enter

3. Type: regtlib *.ocx and press Enter

Important: Before step 3, make sure to copy the ocx file under C:\Windows\sysWOW64 and replace the asterisk symbol with the name of the file.

    This means that your scenario is more complicated that I have expected. As you know Active Thread Plus 3 Components are no longer supported by Infragistics and therefore we can’t assist you further on resolving their compatibility with Windows 7 x64.

    By the way, I download the Activethreed Plus 3 from https://www.infragistics.com/my-account/keys-and-downloads. Do I need to activate it? I tried to activate it with the Suite Unlock and it returns Your suite has not been unlocked. Please advise. Thanks

    During the installation of Active Threed Plus 3, did you type a valid license key when an appropriate field was prompted?

    Hi Frank,
    
    One possible reason for an activation screen to pop up is running an application with user who doesn’t have an administrative rights. Therefore please make sure to verify this scenario.

    I installed the Activethreed plus with administrator right and I still got the same error message, Object library not registered. I checked the link I cannot get to the first error. Is there another way to verify the license?

    Although this is not exactly your case, the recommended resolutions could be applied in your scenario.
