public event EventHandler<InitializeTemplateAddRecordEventArgs> InitializeTemplateAddRecord
Event Data

The event handler receives an argument of type InitializeTemplateAddRecordEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following InitializeTemplateAddRecordEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

PropertyDescription
Handled (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets a value that indicates the present state of the event handling for a routed event as it travels the route.
OriginalSource (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets the original reporting source as determined by pure hit testing, before any possible System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.Source adjustment by a parent class.
RoutedEvent (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets the System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs.RoutedEvent associated with this System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs instance.
Source (Inherited from System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs)Gets or sets a reference to the object that raised the event.
TemplateAddRecord Returns the Infragistics.Windows.DataPresenter.DataRecord to be use as an add template. (read-only)
Remarks

Adding new records is disabled by default and is not supported by all views, e.g. CarouselView does not support adding records directly so its CarouselView.IsAddNewRecordSupported returns false. Also, the DataSource needs to support adding records. This can be determined by checking the RecordManager's RecordManager.DataSourceAllowsAddNew property.

To enable adding records set the FieldLayoutSettings's FieldLayoutSettings.AllowAddNew property to true.

Note: The location of the add record is specified via the FieldLayoutSettings's FieldLayoutSettings.AddNewRecordLocation property. These template add records are included in the ViewableRecords collection.
