StateButton Disabled and Checked
posted

My application show a Ribbon and also uses AppStylist.

Some of the buttons on the Ribbon are StateButtons and I'm having difficulty showing that the button is both checked and disabled at the same time.

Checked state should change the background colour of the button, which it does but only when the button is enabled.

Disabled should only change the foreground colour and the colour of the icon but it is also removing the background colour set by the Checked state.

The disabled state seems to take precedence and I can't find where to edit the styleset to stop it changing the background colour.

Some more digging and I've found it.

On the Active role, I had to specifically set the background colour for the disabled state (far bottom left of the styleset editor) despite the fact that the Preview (far right) already showed the disabled background I wanted.
