Is there a way to use saveasxml but only save the collumn width and sorting?
If not, is there another way to archieve this?
Hi Alexander,
The SaveAsXml method has overloads that allow you to pass in PropertyCategories. These are general categories that include groupings of certain related properties. So you could take a look at the categories and see if they fit your needs.
If they don't, then one way you could handle this is to save more than you need, but then we you do the load, don't load the layout directly into the grid. Instead, create an UltraGridLayout member variable and load the layout into that variable. You could then copy the settings you want into the real grid layout individually.
I had checked the propertycategories but none of them semms to fit my needs.
The second options seams to be promising.
Is there a way to get/set the widths and sorting of all collumns without manually iterating through all of them in the ultragridlayout object and the grid itself?
No, you would have to just loop through them.
ok thank you, and where in the UltraGridLayout object do i find the collumn widths and sorting?
I looked but i can't semm to find the properties.
nevemind i found it, you can get the columns from the band just like in the grid...
thank you for your help
