Hi i have followed one of the example suggested on infragistics forum regarding on right click record should get selected , but the problem i am facing is if i have already selected a record , it shows two items as selected , also i want to pass that selected item to my viewmodel , i have attached my example so you will be able to know what exactly i am doing.
Could you please look into these and let me know the solution for the same.

Hello Prashant,
In 14.2 you can bind an object array in your view model directly to the grid’s SelectedDataItems property. Please see the following link for more information: http://help.infragistics.com/doc/WPF/2014.2/CLR4.0/?page=xamDataGrid_Selected_Data_Items.html
Also if you would only like single record selection you can set the FieldLayoutSettings SelectionTypeRecord set to Single.

Whether i can bind SelectedDataItems two way if yes , could you please attach and example , because i was trying to attach it but it was always empty. no data items were loaded in it

Thanks Valerie , SelectedDataItems is of object array , cant we bind it to observablecollection.
Currently SelectedDataItems does not support binding to an observable collection. Please see the following for more information on using SelectedDataItems: http://help.infragistics.com/doc/WPF/2015.1/CLR4.0/?page=xamDataGrid_Selected_Data_Items.html
