Hello Folks. Please i have the following problem:
I have a form A1 with the property IsMdiContainer=True with an UltraExplorerBar on it. In the UEB i have added some groups and Items.
I have another form called B1 with a buttons,labels,comboboxes on it.
When i click on some item on the UEB (A1 form) i want the form B1 to be shown.
private void ultraExplorerBar1_ItemClick(object sender, Infragistics.Win.UltraWinExplorerBar.ItemEventArgs e) { switch (e.Item.Tag.ToString()) { case "CustomersIncidents": CustomersIncidents B1 = new CustomersIncidents();B1.MdiParent = this;B1.Show(); break;
}
The B1 is added to my form A1 but without the buttons and the other controlers !
Should i add something else ?
Thanks for your help :)
Hello,
Thank you for posting in our forum.
If I understand you correctly your MDI child form shows and the issue is all the controls are missing from the form. One possible reason for this could be if you do not call the InitializeComponent method of your child form.
However in order to investigate this issue in deeper details I will need a small sample solution showing this behavior. So please try to isolate this behavior in a small project and send it to me for further investigation.
I am looking forward to your reply.
Thanks for your reply.
Please find enclosed a small sample solution showing the probleme.
When i click on item Customer or ITO i want the MDI shows me the corresponding MDI child form full with controllers.
Thanks again :)

Hello Amine,
Thank you for your feedback.
I have checked the sample solution you have sent me. What I have found is you have an UltraPanel added to your HomePage form. This panel’s Dock property is set to Fill and it hides the mdi child forms. This is normal behavior as when you add UltraToolbarsManager to your form it suggests you, by default, to add such panel. However when your form is MDI container you should not add this panel. More about adding UltraToolbarsManager to a form you may find by following the next link http://help.infragistics.com/Help/Doc/WinForms/2015.1/CLR4.0/HTML/WinToolbarsManager_Adding_WinToolbarsManager_to_a_Form.html
To fix this issue please erase HomePage_Fill_Panel from your HomePage form.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
I am just checking about the progress of this issue. Let me know if you need my further assistance on it.
Thank you for using Infragistics Components.
