We are supporting a legacy application (originally developed by another company which we have taken over support responsibilities for). Application is currently using Netadvantage 2007.3. When we took over support we bought two licenses for our developers (at that time version 2012.1/2) so we had legal versions.
Now I need to install 2011.1 which is the last version that supports the generation of controls we use (Webgrid etc). I can download that version but I do not have any key for that version, only for my three supported versions, 2012.1/2012.2/2013.1 and they don't work AFAIK when installing 2011.1.
What do I need to install the 2011 version?
Magnus,
You will need to work with sales to get a key for 2011 Volume 1. You can reach out to sales by email: sales@infragistics.com or you can call or chat with them using the options on the How to Buy page.
Please note that you should consider migrating to our newer ASP.NET AJAX controls or our Ignite UI toolset as both have better support for more web browsers than IE and Firefox and also have better support for current versions of IE and Firefox.
Let me know if you have any questions with this matter.
Thank you. Will contact sales.
Yes I know that the right path would be to replace with the new controls. However, this application will be be replaces within a year so now we try to do as little as possible. Replacing with new controls is probably quit a lot of work. Currently trying to make application work with IE11 (I know it is not supported but might get it work good enough with help of compatibility mode) or optionally Firefox
Upgrading to 2011 Volume 1 will help with some IE 11 support though it wasn't officially support there were a few bug fixes that are relevant.
