Hello, I would create a graph to compare the yearly turnover in the same period.
I mean: considering we are in July I would see the previous years turnover from January to June, next month I would seefrom January to July and son on.... Can you help?
Hello Tommaso,
Thank you for your support request!
Would you mind sharing an example of your data? Depending on what you have is what we can do to visualize the monthly turnover year over year.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Ok, I have the following datas:
I would create these calculated fields:
PrevYear: sum all the amount from 01/01/2015 to 01/07/2015 (the final date must be the current month - 1 year)
CurrYear: summ all 2016
Hope it help to understand my requirement.
Thank you.
Hi Tommaso,
Thanks for sharing your case with us.
From your description, the following are the formulas you would need to use:
Let me know if this works for you.
Best regards.
Thanks for your quick reply.
However using those formulas, I don't understand why, it gives huge amounts...
Hi,
Maybe the date field is not parsed as you expect. That's something that might happen with limited sample data (month numbers can be confused by day numbers on parsing).
Is there a dashboard + fake data that you can share with us? (Note: If you are using a local file on your ReportPlus dashboard, when sharing the dashboard by email you can choose to attach the file within the dashboard to be sent).
Did you also try this scenario with real dates?
Best,
