When I change the filter row style to use the excel style filter, my filter icons are now in the header row as opposed to a separate row beneath the headers. Is there a way to force it to be a separate row still?
Also, can I intermix styles? What if I have a list column that I'd like to use the excel filter but I have a name column that is just too unique and produces too big a list so I'd rather that be the normal filter with contains, begins with, etc. Can I do that?
Hi Irri,
Both of these are feature requests. You currently can only have one mode per grid. You cannot intermingle row and excel filtering on a column basis. You also cannot have the filter icon for excel in another row.

Hi Lisa,
I have submitted a product idea submission to our product management team on your behalf. Product ideas are implemented based on the popularity of the feature request from the Infragistics Community.
The product idea submission ID numbers are as follows:
Filter icon in separate row of the grid, below header row --> #12110028
Intermixing filter styles ---> #12110029
I have created a private case for you for these product idea submissions, and will follow-up with you on the private case with your product idea submissions:
Please let me know if you need any additional assistance regarding this matter.
Hi!
I see this is a really old thread. I am using ASP.NET 2015.2 and the WebDataGrid has only one filter style.
could you send any updates about Intermixing filter styles?
Best regards,
