I am attempting to script out the setup of a new developer's machine by automatically installing all tools needed. One of those is Infragistics NetAdvantage for WinForms. How do I silently install this using the command line?
I've attempted to discover the command line options using:
NetAdvantage_Select_20101.exe /?
But this just launches the GUI installer.
Thanks for any assistance.
Hello Kris,
You could do this with the following line in CMD, when you are in the folder containing the .exe file:
start /wait (exe name) /qn /key:(Product-specific Key) /product:Windows_Forms
Please do not hesitate to ask if something comes up.
We are still following this forum thread.
Have been able to try to suggest command?
Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions with this matter.
I am checking about the progress of this issue. Please let me know If you need any further assistance on this.
Sorry it has taken so long. Other things came up.
This morning I tried running the following command:
NetAdvantage_Select_20101.exe /qn /key:<license-key> /product:Windows_Forms
It launches the GUI installer without automating anything.
It seems that this option is not available for NetAdvantage v10.1 and it is not supported anymore.
What you could do is to download the v13.1 for Windows Forms and try that again.
Please let me know if you need any additional assistance.
